JOB DETAILS
Base Pay: $16 per hour
1st Shift: 6AM-6PM (Monday-Friday)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
- May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
- Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
- Understand and carry out verbal instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Read work orders, labels, and schedules
- Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
- Make fraction and decimal conversions
- Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing
- Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
- Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge on CNC machines and able to setup programming
- Translate instructions into computer commands so the machine can perform function
- Adhere to Site Wide Safety Protocols and Requirements (Personal Protective equipment is mandatory)
- Must be a team player, self-motivated and dependable
- Physical requirements: Must be able to physically stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items
- Reading and understanding blueprints and work orders to be processed
- Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in a manufacturing environment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machine/equipment
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned
- Excellent Communication skills
- Reading fractions/decimals
