About the Role

Location: Altopascio (LU)

Essity is looking for a Logistic Engineer for the Altopascio plant. The selected candidate will be integrated into the logistics department and involved in key projects for optimizing and improving supply chain and material management processes. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience and grow in an international and dynamic corporate environment.

What you will do

  • Support the logistics team in analyzing warehouse processes, distribution, and material flow management.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of solutions to optimize operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and planning teams to ensure proper stock and material management.

  • Use data analysis tools to monitor and improve the performance of logistics processes.

  • Participate in supplier management and relationships with external logistics partners.

  • Prepare periodic reports on logistics KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.

Who you are:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Economics, or related fields.

  • Previous experience (including internships) in the logistics sector is a plus

  • Strong interest in the logistics sector and supply chain management.

  • Good knowledge of data management tools and software (Excel, ERP, WMS) in preferred

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimization.

  • Good command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Excellent communication skills and a predisposition for teamwork.
