This includes performing regular vulnerability scans and applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to maintain compliance. Proficiency in Linux, networking, and Windows is essential for success in our blended technology environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Linux, Network devices, and Windows endpoints.
  • Embrace new technologies to meet evolving requirements.
  • Perform system design and new hardware/software implementation.
  • Provide onsite IT support.
  • Coordinate with the Information assurance team to meet compliance.
  • Maintain a robust virtual and physical environment.
  • Work on multiple projects, leading projects that fall within the Area of responsibility.
  • Manage privileged access management.
  • Ensure the proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.
  • Maintain Baseline configuration of various information systems.
  • Keep information systems compliant and aligned with DOD standards.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 (Five) years of System Administrator experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with security agencies, customers, and management.
  • Manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework requirements for Windows Systems, Linux Systems, and network Devices.
  • DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
  • Minimum of 4 (Four) years administering Linux operating systems.

Credentials:

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • (IAT) Level II certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience maintaining networks in classified environments.
  • Experience maintaining Linux environments.
  • Understanding of network concepts, Type 1 encryption devices (e.g., TACLANE), and cybersecurity tools.
  • Knowledge of VOIP.
  • Experience with Ansible.
  • RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
