You will join our REC department

As our new Mapping/Lidar Processing Analyst you will be part of of a world class, innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Will need to coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for RST/GIS works in a given project.

• Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents

• Exercises self-discipline and work ethics

• Respect and follow company policies and procedures

• Carry out self-checks of his/her works as per company policy

• B.Sc or M.Sc. surveying/geospatial science/GIS/Remote sensing is preferred. Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with minimum 4-7 years as a Mapping/Lidar Processing Analyst may be considered as well.

• Good/Strong knowledge of Microstation/AutoCAD, Terrasolid TerraScan / TerraModeler / TerraPhoto and/or TerraMatch (or similar) and ESRI ArcGIS Pro.

• Perform any LiDAR pre and post processing tasks allocated as per project requirements

• Knowledge of Elevation System Adjustment

• Input Data Validation, Data Calibration and Registration

• Data Classification (Manual and Automatic)

• Quality Control of the post processed data Exp in - Microstation, Terrasolid products, Global Mapper

• planimetric extraction and preparation of deliverable in MicroStation

• Check and Perform Camera misalignment solutions Committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.

• Good level of written and spoken English.

Qualifications

Qualification: Bachelors in Geography/Remote Sensing/Geo-informatics or Diploma/B.Tech. in civil.

Mandatory Skills Requires: 2D/3D Mapping/Topography, LiDAR, Mobile Mapping, Point cloud Pre-processing.

Software Skills: MicroStation v8i/Connect, Terra Solid (T-Scan, T-Model, T-Photo & T-

Match), AutoCAD Map

Experience: 4-8 years
