Position SummaryAs a lead scrum master, you will serve as a change agent, servant leader and agile coach for your team(s). Responsibility includes ensuring teams lives agile/SAFe values and principles, follows the agreed processes ad practices, communicates clearly and help the team reach its goal. You will also ensure execution is happening & helping the team to reach the goal. You also ensure good relationship between Agile Release train (ART) and backlog team as well as others outside the team.
This is a role in Huron’s Corporate IT Operation team based in India and works with Corporate IT resources based in India and the US.Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a Change Agent with passion for supporting Agile teams and Portfolios to transform their behaviour towards an agile mindset.
  • Manages the backlog and facilitates the sequencing of work across the ART to efficiently manage the overall development and capacity utilization.
  • Contributes towards program level coordination and establishes timelines, milestones and cadence of increment & releases.
  • Facilitates ART and agile ceremonies effectively.
  • Ensure alignment, synchronization and integration across multiple agile teams and business owners.
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and drives team processe & methodology to improve delivery, quality, and effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the team members on Agile Framework.
  • Help with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) setup for Agile team(s)
  • Help Agile Teams manage their progress via transparent backlog.
  • Understanding & finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
  • Works on other projects and tasks as deemed necessary.
  • Use sound judgement to escalate issues appropriately and timely, including solution options and associated impacts to drive effective decision making.
  • Drive visibility and transparency of dates, milestones, and dependencies
  • Demonstrate critical thinking to anticipate and connect opportunities and resolve challenges and escalations.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration with others and high emotional intelligence to build productive and strategic relationships.
  • Ensure teams work effectively together in Agile, promoting collaboration and transparency
  • Escalating and tracking impediments, removing bottlenecks where the teams cannot do it themselves.
  • Utilizing team feedback, analyzing data and reporting on team factors such as quality, delivery rate, throughput, productivity and velocity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
  • 7+ experience working in software delivery lifecycle/business process change/Agile environment
  • 5+ full time experience as a Scrum Master and deep understanding and implementation of agile methodologies
  • Successful experience working with global teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of common practices to manage risk and dependencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and Team dynamics skills.
  • Excellent colloaboration and communications skills.

Certifications

  • Certified Scrum Master or Advance level (CSM, Scrum Alliance)
  • SAFe SA, RTE an additional plus
