Iron Mountain’s Global Technology Organization is looking for a Lead Architect who will be responsible for leading InSight DevOps initiatives and will be responsible for working with the DevOps and Development teams to deliver functionality in a quarterly release cycle. The position requires a strong Engineering leader capable of working with teams of engineers to define design and implementation for new capabilities. This leader will be accountable for timely releases and meeting business deadlines, providing tradeoffs with the product team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and delivery of service based functionality within the Agile development lifecycle. They will have experience with architecting, designing platforms, microservices development for cloud-based services in highly performant systems. Experience with cloud deployments and architectures (GCP, Amazon, Azure), Cloud cost management and governance and experience with building observability features is required.
An ideal candidate for this role must be a passionate, team-oriented problem solver who understands and differentiates between what users want vs. what they need to create industry leading solutions. They should demonstrate an hybrid approach of business and technical acumen and understanding of consumer centricity to enable digital experiences. Responsibilities:

Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoffs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline.

Guide the DevOps team in building effective CI/CD pipelines in GitLab (with zero to minimal human intervention required)

Hands on experience with Terraform and Helm

Works with Enterprise Cloud Services teams to implement and build scalable systems

Handles security considerations, anticipates security risks

Manage configurations for SQL and Cloud based systems

Handle disaster recovery and support scenarios

Meet SOC/ISO, NIST and GDPR compliance requirements

Lead daily scrums and planning sessions with DevOps and Engineering team as a Technical Manager

Provide cloud architecture oversight and best practices

Work with third-parties and hyperscalers to integrate with InSight

Assist Sales/Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams with customer requests for proposals

Education and/or Experience:

Cloud DevOps certification preferred, but not required.
