So, what’s the role all about?
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our product quality. From setting up quality standards to actively participating in exploratory and automation tests, your expertise will ensure our software exceeds industry benchmarks. Working collaboratively with SW engineers, architects, and product managers, you'll gain unparalleled experience and actively shape real-life product delivery.
How will you make an impact?
API Testing: Automate end-to-end backend and orchestrator API testing. Craft detailed test cases, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring immediate feedback on code quality and stability.
- Load Testing Expertise: Design, develop, and execute performance and load tests to validate system performance and reliability. Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Continuously research, integrate, and manage the latest automation frameworks and tools that fit the company's needs, ensuring tests are reliable, fast, and efficient.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to understand system architecture, design, and functionalities. Provide feedback and solutions to improve software robustness.
- Define Test Automation Approach and drive Automation coverage within the sprints.
- Establish testing practices throughout the development lifecycle (unit, E2E)
Have you got what it takes?
- BS in Computer Science or related degree
- API Testing Tools such as Postman.
- 5 – 7 years as a software QA automation.
- Unit Testing Frameworks: xUnit or similar frameworks.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for immediate feedback on system reliability and performance.
- Well familiar and proficient in AWS platform.
- Experience with: Git, GitHub, Jenkins
- Experience with REST API and Microservices
- Ability to work in a fast paced in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker.
- Experience with: Python, .Net
