Team:
Coupang’s Global department PMO team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sr. Program Management Specialist. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer experience on Coupang’s global selection as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team. The individual will also work across a matrix organization internally with cross-functional teams as well as external network. The primary goal of this role is to help Coupang as company-wide improve its global selection that our customers want and drives increased loyalty.
What are the 4 things you need this person to do?
- Begins everyday Obsessing over Customer Experience. Starts with customer focused objectives and works backwards. Build solutions to address and Wow our customers
- Reviews end-to-end customer journey thoroughly and defines any front-end customer experiences on global selection (Global sourcing, Rocket Jikgu, etc.)
- Analyzes As-Is business performance and defines success metrics & strategy for business optimization and continuous improvement on standard operating procedure. Be a strategic thought partner to group members in different parts of the business and liaison with external network to address company-wide global solution for the growth of global selection
- Creates project roadmap and maintains project priorities within Global eCommerce. Lead project team to make business success
Essential Qualifications:
- Over 5-10 yrs of relevant work experience in BD or PM role on eCommerce or global SCM solutions
- Ability to speak and write in English & Korean in a proficient and concise way. Other language is plus
- Experience and track record of delivering E2E projects at scale
- SOP/Policy setup or new business building experience on eCommerce, Cross border, SCM or Retail industry
- Previous experience in eCommerce and other internet-based industries; retail; global brands
- E2E business understanding / Logistics and Supply Chain expertise
- Strategic partnering, financial acumen, matrix management, value co-creator
- Bachelor's degree majored in business, finance, analytical or related majors. (mathematics, engineering, statistics, economics, marketing etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment with many asks and multiple stakeholders
- Able to balance strategy with strong operational skills - able to understand, deconstruct, streamline and optimize complex, large-scale business processes
- High standards and a bias toward action
- Always ensures business goals and plans are in line with “Wowing the Customer.” Never sacrifices customer experience for short-term goal
- Is able to conceive new ideas and experimentation for consideration. Understands the difference between 1-way and 2-way doors
- Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others, including executive level reviews
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to find creative ways to cover come obstacles
- Advanced level of data analytics tools, such as Excel
- Self-define project requirement and needs for success
