Job Summary
The Junior Specialist: Business Analysis will support the Senior in the creation and maintenance of CIB clients across master systems and various sub-systems within the organization's Client Onboarding Operations Team. This role involves data management, quality control, and client services to ensure accurate and efficient processing of client data.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Management and Quality Control:
- Monitor and action requests from internal stakeholders.
- Ensure 100% conformance with quality assurance and escalate issues as needed.
- Perform regular checks on workflow and escalate deviations.
Data Management:
- Validate and process data requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and finalize requests according to guidelines.
- Maintain and update relevant manuals and systems.
Client Services:
- Provide professional and timely responses to internal stakeholders.
- Update progress on workflow tools and ensure all completed requests are properly documented.
Data Cleaning and Checking:
- Handle bulk data amendments and ensure client data is synchronized across systems.
- Sign off on daily data audit reports and correct any anomalies.
Troubleshooting:
- Address complex data amendments and liaise with legal and product houses as needed.
- Recommend system enhancements and process improvements.
Operations Support:
- Attend training sessions and team meetings.
- Ensure relevant controls are in place for your area of responsibility.
Education and Experience Required:
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) with Mathematics.
- Post-grade 12 qualification in systems, engineering, or statistics is preferable.
- 1-2 years’ experience in data management or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis or a business analyst role.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of data and IT systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
- Strong technical data knowledge.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (Required)
