Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Renewables Latvia team. In this role, you will be responsible for project planning across all phases of wind and/or solar projects. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Creating and maintaining overall project schedules across all project phases
  • Verifying and integrating third-party schedules into the overall project timeline
  • Monitoring progress, analyzing critical path activities, and identifying potential bottlenecks
  • Assessing the scheduling impact of changes, analyzing and visualizing scenarios, and proposing alternative schedules when needed
  • Producing forecasts for the project team, evaluating key performance metrics, and continuously reviewing contractor progress to ensure milestone achievement
  • Providing scheduling input for management reports and supporting overall report preparation
  • Identifying scheduling conflicts that could delay projects and recommending remedial actions when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Higher education
  • At least 1 year of experience working on projects as a planner, project manager, project engineer, or in a similar role. Experience in the construction, energy, or utilities sector is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with construction-related processes and project management methodologies
  • Experience using project planning and scheduling tools. Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions when necessary
  • Capability to handle fast-paced, complex projects in a multi-project and multi-country environment
  • Proficiency in Latvian and English (oral and written) as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners.
