We’re looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst to join our dynamic IT team on a 6 Month FTC and provide essential support to our employees. If you're passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to kick-start your IT career in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior IT Support Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth IT operations across the business. This role is primarily based on site in our Paddington offices although you can work from home one day a week if you choose to. Your key responsibilities will include:
- 1st Line Support – Providing first-line technical support to employees via in-person, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution – Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- User Management – Setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, Google Workspace, and other enterprise tools.
- Device & Asset Management – Supporting company laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Software & System Support – Assisting with installation, updates, and troubleshooting of software applications.
- Collaboration & Documentation – Maintaining accurate IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and asset inventories.
- Security & Compliance – Ensuring IT security policies and best practices are followed.
- IT Projects – Supporting the IT team in rolling out new technology, system upgrades, and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, proactive, and passionate about IT support. You don’t need to have years of experience, but a strong foundation in IT and problem-solving skills are essential.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong interest in IT support, troubleshooting, and technology.
- Basic knowledge of Windows & MacOS environments.
- Understanding of Google Workspace & Microsoft o365
- Familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPNs, IP addresses, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role (even internships or personal projects count!).
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
