Title:
JR Systems Engineer
KBR is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide Enterprise-level Systems Engineering and Technical Analysis (SETA) support for an Intelligence Community Space customer. The candidate will work across Architecture and Requirements, Analysis, and Digital Engineering teams to support end-to-end Enterprise Systems Engineering across GEOINT, SIGINT, Transport, Resiliency, Warfighter Support, and Enterprise Integration portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Helping define and baseline the future space architecture by investigating and advising on proposed architecture alternatives and options to mitigate capability gaps and take advantage of opportunities to improve the enterprise capabilities utilizing model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Coordinating and executing engineering investigations of architecture concepts to assess feasibility, interoperability, and suitability
- Supporting the refinement and baselining of allocated requirements and maintaining traceability following agency-approved standards and practices and consistent with DoD and IC processes
- Supporting the risks, issues, and opportunities process
- Support Mission Assurance activities, including supporting and advising on enterprise-wide standards for the development and vetting of new hardware and software
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (STEM preferred)
- 3+ years’ experience working in government major system acquisitions
- Space experience in DoD or IC
Desired Qualifications:
- Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technology
- OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional certification or demonstrated commensurate level of knowledge.
