Leidos National Security Sector’s Engineering, Integration and Operations (EIO) Division is looking for an experienced System Engineer Solution Architect (SA) to support multiple projects/proposals. In this role you will help solve demanding challenges via technology, modernization, and transformation processes, and proven methods and solutions. As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape solutions and drive insertions of technology into projects/proposals. As a Solution Architect, you will work with subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered on EIO programs and proposals. In addition to developing solutions, you will help the Government customer understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical capabilities, features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and support division level campaigns and initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
•Function as the principal System Engineer SME for the DLM division supporting programs with technology infusion and on-contract growth opportunities as well as captures for new business.
•Support overall division technical innovation, differentiation, and strategy to include creation and execution of a technology roadmap, development of technical strategies for division captures, and supporting technical performance on major programs focused on growing the division
•Engage with the DLM Division Manager and Growth team to ensure opportunities are properly solutioned and to assist the division in increasing its PWIN on those opportunities
•Ensure consistent implementation of the capture process to include playing a major role in strategy reviews, technology readiness reviews, and color reviews.
•Enhance Leidos best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions
•Understand competitor and teammate technology and assist capture teams in identifying differentiators to increase the Leidos PWIN
Basic Qualifications
•BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
•Prior technical roles within similar organizations with growing duties and responsibilities
•Large acquisition program experience
•Significant business acumen including staff planning and basis of estimate development experience
•Demonstrated expertise and program performance in the areas of digital modernization technologies, including cloud, data, cyber, network, and end-user capabilities
•Experience leading technical teams to include solution architects and solution developers
•Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
•Understanding and experience with NIST Risk Management Framework
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•The ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success within deadlines.
•Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with working Army, Navy and Air Force Customers highly desired
•Prior technical roles within similar organizations with growing duties and responsibilities
•Large acquisition program experience
•Demonstrated expertise and program performance in the areas of solutioning different technologies, including cloud, data, cyber, network, ERP and end-user capabilities.

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
