About the Role

The IT Systems Administrator works independently and collaboratively to execute IT Department activities. The primary responsibility of this role is to administer IT systems. Additional responsibilities will be assigned for various IT Department strategies that support our fast-paced, rapidly growing international organization. 

Reports to: Director of ITPay Classification: Full-TimeResponsibilities

  • Administer M365 and other applications, including MS Entra ID, Purview/Compliance, Conditional Access, JAMF, Defender, Microsoft Intune, and Sentinel.
  • Administer a M365 GCC tenant.
  • Collaborate with our MDR, SOC, and CISO on security issues and initiatives.  
  • Run lead on IT and Security projects, instructed by IT management and the CISO.
  • Update and maintain Windows and Mac device images.
  • Update and maintain applications in Intune and JAMF.
  • Provide exceptional support to end users and colleges on various user issues.
  • Identify, research, resolve, and document technical problems.
  • Monitor and report licenses and system usage across multiple platforms
  • Respond to ticket and email requests for technical support escalated by tier 1-2.
  • Document, track, and monitor submitted issues/tasks to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Simulate or recreate user problems to provide resolutions.
  • Escalate customer support to the necessary leadership as needed.
  • Escalate issues to vendor support as needed.
  • Contribute to all IT processes and technical documentation.
  • Assist and oversee office moves, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to provide best-in-class service.
  • Formally document technical implementation specifications for completed projects.  

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in IT or other relevant discipline

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as an IT Engineer or IT Administrator.
  • Proven experience in a cloud/M365 environment.
  • Experience in a GCC tenant preferred.
  • Microsoft Applied Skills or Certifications credentials preferred 
  • Experience working with a ticketing system.
  • Technical support knowledge related to desktops, laptops, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience administering an M365 environment, including Security, compliance, and Intune.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills. 
  • Proficiency in leveraging internet search and other resources to achieve results.
