As IT Analyst II, you will support all 3 Caterpillar Fluid Systems Italian sites, based in Frosinone , Atessa and Cernusco sul Naviglio (Mi).
You will work on application/technical problem identification and resolution.
You will assess the need for creating or redesigning applications to meet unique business requirements, to enhance user productivity and adapt to organizational needs.
You will provide Project management and/or System administration leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members.
You will run tests on new applications, troubleshoot issues reported by employees, and perform regular maintenance checks ensuring data security, based on corporate guidelines.
You will work and collaborate with worldwide Caterpillar IT groups involved in all IT areas (IT Infrastructure, DB Admins, IT Architects, Developers...)
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent, proficient in advanced computing skills
Mother tongue in Italian & fluent in English
Advanced problem-solving ability.
Good understanding of manufacturing end-to-end business processes
Team player, proven communication skills
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience on a similar role, as part of a company's IT Team.
Sound knowledge of help desk operations, task-related skills, and knowledge of operating systems.
Candidate must have a good experience with one of the following languages: HTML, SQL, C++
A proven ability on gathering and interpreting business data.
Understanding software advantages and disadvantages and document them for the Business partners.
Top Candidates will also have:
ITIL Foundation certification will be an asset but not mandatory
Working experience with Microsoft365 suite (Sharepoint, Power BI, Power Apps)
