Job Description:

Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats is an entrepreneurial arms-length business focused on extending the Mars brands into new chocolate categories beyond confectionery though external partners (suppliers and distributors). The business currently operates in 10+ categories: Milk Drinks, Hot Chocolate, Cakes, Bakes, Desserts, Chocolate Spreads, Specialist Sports, Free From, Ice Cream and QSR across UK and Europe.

This role is accountable for £15 million NSV business with a growth trajectory of 15% p.a. 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Support the Section Head in identifying and delivering the short- and long-term category strategies to fulfil the MCDT growth ambition on a continual basis. 
     

  • Supporting a cross functional team of 8 people ensuring that everyone is clear on the category strategy and individual contributions in service of the strategy. 
     

  • Joint ownership of the business model design from co-manufacture through to customer relationship. 
     

  • You will manage direct customer relationships, direct sales and direct pricing strategies with 15 to 22 global QSR customers and foodservice wholesale customers across UK, ME and Europe.
     

  • You will be responsible for managing the QSR/ Foodservice supply chain from raw materials through to finished goods for customers managed.
