Intern Solution Architect

Job Description:

As a Solution Architect Intern at SUSE, you will work alongside experienced Solution Architects to support pre-sales activities, contribute to technical discussions, and design tailored open-source solutions for our customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Linux systems while learning from experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Solution Architects in designing and developing solutions for SUSE’s clients, focusing on Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure.

• Participate in technical discussions and help understand client requirements.

• Support in creating and delivering demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept environments.

• Learn and apply SUSE’s products such as SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Rancher, and SUSE Manager in real-world scenarios.

• Collaborate with the sales team to support technical pre-sales activities.

• Help develop documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical proposals, and solution guides.

• Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to support solution development.

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support under the guidance of senior architects.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Basic understanding of Linux systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

• Strong interest in open-source technologies and willingness to learn about SUSE’s product portfolio.

• Familiarity with networking, virtualization, or infrastructure automation tools is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
