About This Role

Strava is the app for active people. With over 150 million athletes in more than 190 countries, it’s more than tracking workouts—it’s where connection, motivation, and personal bests thrive. No matter your activity, gear, or goals, Strava’s got you covered. Find your crew, crush your milestones, and keep moving forward. Start your journey with Strava today.

You are a savvy, grassroots marketer passionate about community building and engagement. You have passion in all things sports, you have existing strong relationships within the running and cycling communities, and have a reputation as a social connector. You are a self-starter and have the ability to drive projects independently while working closely with the France Country team. This role also requires organization, project management skills, the ability to prioritize pragmatically, come up with an abundance of creative ideas, and most importantly, a love of sport and a great of understanding of Strava features.

This is a minimum 6-month hybrid internship based in our Paris office.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Build and cultivate relationships, both digitally & IRL, with a growing and diverse set of world-class creators, club organizers & event organizers in France
  • Collaborate with key athletes, creators, club organizers & event organizers to help them get the most out of Strava’s products as they build and engage with their community
  • Identify, onboard and activate new Creators to the platform.
  • Drive adoption of event features with key event organizers and partners throughout Europe with an emphasis on France.
  • Create, innovate and execute initiatives with local creators, club organizers, and event organizers to deepen their platform affiliation, or amplify them on and off-platform
  • Measure and report on the impact of your work; communicate these metrics, wins & learnings to the wider team.
  • Contribute to local French insights for the Global Team. Contribute to weekly, monthly reports on trends, events, key clubs and influencers, and opportunities and recommendations.
  • Increase diversity, equity and inclusion for underrepresented creators and communities on Strava and within the industry. Participate in Diversity Dialogues, trainings and apply these practices to all areas of your work.

You will be successful here by:

  • Establishing community relationships and developing connections with a core audience of creators, club organizers and event organizers, primarily in running, cycling, or the broader connected fitness and wellness industry.
  • Recognizing & connecting with the next big creators and club organizers, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Influencing the team through clear and concise communication, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
  • Experience using data and analytics in the service of larger initiatives — ability to track, analyze and communicate key metrics and business trends.
  • Experience articulating creator culture and feedback to internal stakeholders; knowledge of the talent and influencer space and the evolving players in the space.
  • Knowledge of known & emerging social media platforms and how creators create content.
  • Deep passion for Strava and the health and wellness of the world’s athletes; you may not be a creator, but you understand the landscape and believe that high quality and inspiring content is important.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver impactful results.
  • Works closely with the France Country team.

We’re excited about you because:

  • You’re in the process to get your Bachelor degree in Business Administration, business school or any digital-specific degree.

  • Communication and presentation skills in English and French.
  • Project management experience, with experience executing and handling multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline.
  • Flexibility to travel to key cities, community hubs, and events across France
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
  • You are proficient in working with community monitoring software.
