Position Purpose: Design and update claims and health care processing content documentation that translate technical data into materials that are clearly understood and usable for claims business operations staff.
Work samples will be requested for review as a part of the interview process.
***The Instructional Documentation Writer position is fully remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.***
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and distribute work process documents, process bulletins, and policies and procedures.
- Translate, design, edit, and distribute print and web-based communications to provide time sensitive technical documentation, including product design research and data gathering
- Develop high quality, user-friendly production-based documentation
- Collaborate with various departments to create and maintain documentation creating consistency, efficiency and best practices
- Develop a wide range of documentations, including user guides, training aides, quick references, and online assistance
- Establish project timelines, including resources and staff allocation
- Participate in technical information-based initiatives
- Collaborate with training and implementation teams to prepare materials, online tools, demos, etc.
- Maintain and perform necessary annual documentation reviews for assigned compliance management systems
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of technical writing or documentation design experience. Experience in documenting end-user requirements, procedures, and workflow development. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills, especially in graphics, knowledge management systems, publishing and multimedia software. Familiarity with Information Mapping preferred.
Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per year
