About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Independent Testing Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Participate in less complex development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities companywide in alignment with the risk management framework
- Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies within Independent Testing
- Support and implement less complex initiatives with low to moderate risk and exercise independent judgment to guide risk reporting, escalation, and resolution
- Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in risk management framework and the risk and control environment
- Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners and management
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Risk & Compliance, Quality Assurance or Banking experience plus, hands on experience on SharePoint management, data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to draw conclusions and translate findings from complex data
- Experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while prioritizing work and balancing multiple priorities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and creative problem solving techniques
- Experience and knowledge of Risk Management Programs
- Experience with Tableau & Power BI and other visualization tools, with the ability to incorporate a visual data story into an actionable narrative for executive audience
- Ability to review and develop work plans and effectively summarize results
- 2-5 years of experience in Risk Management
