Job Description
As the HR Manager with our client in Wilmington, OH, you will manage multiple HR professionals and work with all levels of the organization including senior management. In addition, the HR Manager will oversee all areas of human resources including managing and evaluating turnover, recruiting, employee relations, preparing monthly, quarterly annual reports. This role with provide other HR support including compliance reporting, social media updates and company activities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with managers to determine training needs
- Compiling data and generating reports from HRIS (UKG)
- Manage leaves of absence and Workers Comp
- Coach employees and managers on correct interpretation and administration of company policies
- Work with managers to ensure a positive culture with employees
- Lead employee recruitment, selection, on-boarding and retention programs throughout all locations.
- Lead Employee Relations, career-pathing employees, job evaluations, compensation programs, corrective action and exit interviews
Qualifications
Requirements for this position include:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or related area
- Strong Technical experience including advanced skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS systems (specifically UKG)
- Prior experience in an aviation industry supporting hourly staff is a plus.
- Knowledge of current federal, state and local employment laws and regulations (i.e. OSHA, FMLA, Compensation, Workers Compensation)
- A strong business and HR acumen including strong critical thinking skills, critical thinking, analysis and ability to foster team building among stakeholders
- Experience with various selection processes (interviews, background screening, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills and multi-tasking
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate a
- variety of messages articulated simply and clearly to different audiences.
