About the job
In this role, the Histology Tech will support the delivery of patient care by performing histology techniques that are utilized in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease to ensure laboratory turnaround time and patient care goals are met.
Here what you'll do
- Performs histology processing including embedding, microtomy and manual/automated staining in accordance with standard operating procedures and accreditation requirements. Demonstrates the organizational skills required to complete work assignments within the time scheduled.

Required:
- High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
- Experience cutting and embedding
Preferred:
- Associate's degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Licensure/Certifications:

- Registered Histotechnician (ASCP)

Pay Range:
$23.00 - $39.60
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
