To process aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test, through vacuum furnace heat treatment processes.
Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components.Job DescriptionResponsibilities

  • Carry out vacuum furnace heat treat operations of aircraft engine components to within OEM specifications.

  • Familiar with engineering drawings and OEM technical manuals.

  • Use of some measuring equipment and be able to visually inspect engine components.

  • Precise attention to detail and a high level of concentration.

  • Good manual dexterity.

  • Reasonable level of Microsoft Office understanding, also working with OEM manuals.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Knowledge or understanding of vacuum furnace heat treat processes would be beneficial, although not essential.

  • Knowledge of brazing procedures would be beneficial, although not essential.

  • Enthusiastic with a positive attitude to learning the above processes.

  • Must have confidence to work on their own, as well as using their initiative. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
