ICG is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to join our Corporate Technology Services and Estates team. Reporting into the Head of Corporate Technology Services you will be responsible for procurement at a global level, helping ICG to mature our processes in our quest to control expenditure provide best in class services through innovation and continuous improvement.

ICG is seeking a results driven and strategic thinking Head of Procurement, experienced in developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing supply chain operations. Proven track record of achieving cost savings, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving innovation. Adept at leading cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. The London-based Head of Procurement will foster close working and collaboration with senior leadership and budget owners to effectively manage cost, risk, efficiency and strategic alignment.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
As the Head of Procurement you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings, supplier performance and user experience. The Head of Procurement will be responsible for negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery throughout entire lifecycle. You will collaborate with other departments to align procurement activities with organisational goals, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Lead the procurement function providing oversight on a combined annual budget of c£50 million (Technology, Real Estate, Project and Travel)

Develop and implement a procurement strategy, balancing cost efficiencies and user experience

Negotiate contracts with key suppliers

Develop and maintain policies

Conduct supplier performance reviews, developing service improvement plans to enhance quality and delivery

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational objectives

Implement strategic sourcing initiatives

Develop and maintain strong relationships with ICG’s suppliers, with a view on supply chain optimisation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality services

Conduct market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks

Identify and implement self-service procurement opportunities whilst maintain compliance with policies and procedures

Develop and maintain expenditure reporting for – Technology, Real Estate, Travel and transformation (project spend)
