General Summary:
Vertex is seeking a talented individual to join our US Pain Business Unit to support our journey to bring forth new options for the treatment of pain. The HCP Marketing Sr. Specialist, US Pain, will be a critical role in supporting the team in executing HCP engagement activities and supporting the broader HCP marketing team across key workstreams. This would include executing on the branded speakers bureau and congress plans, print management, and standardizing processes for the team. We are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter, detail-oriented, and clear communicator. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. This role will report to the Director of HCP Marketing for the US Pain Business Unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Contract management for branded speakers bureau, including facilitation of timely execution through partnering with internal and external teams

Support in execution of branded speaker programs, including field coordination, speaker scheduling, and reporting of activities

Financial management for congresses and HCP payments, including setting up new vendors, creating purchase orders, processing and managing invoices, and communicating internally and externally to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Tracking Transfer of Value for HCPs, including collecting materials required for submissions, reporting within Vertex systems, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with Vertex standards

Coordination of sponsorship submissions, including being the go-to resource for the team

Print management, fulfillment, and stocking across the HCP team, including collaborating with Marketing Operations and external print vendor to ensure store front is always up-to-date with approved materials for ordering, and key contact for field on print needs

HCP engagement support in uploading of leads generated from marketing team engagements and congress attendance (e.g., booth leads)
Knowledge and Skills:

Fundamental oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to exchange straightforward information

Good knowledge of computer-based programs including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Good knowledge of Salesforce applications (Veeva, PromoMats, etc.) desirable

Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry business, policies, and procedures

Basic scientific knowledge and ability to understand complex markets

Healthcare marketing or sales experience
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field

Typically requires 1 year of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
