KBR is seeking a Lead System Test Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, hand selected systems engineering team defining the next generation of space communication systems supporting US Space Force and Space Systems Command (SSC) Advanced MILSATCOM Division (SZM). You will support Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. You will work onsite, co-located and closely integrated with the Government Customer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the test planning effort to coordinate working group recommendations and to resolve test questions from stakeholders
- Lead/support government/contractor working groups to develop relevant test scenarios and detailed test planning, culminating in test readiness reviews, test conduct, and review/acceptance of results
- Crafting, coordinating and managing test planning and verification documents
- Coordinate the assessment of contractor test plans against the baseline architecture
- Serve as the test subject matter expert for interacting with users
- Coordinate and participate in integration testing, analysis and reporting to verify requirement and interface compliance
- Interact closely with and align efforts of stakeholders
- Manage and track giver-receiver items across test stakeholder
- May require up to 20% travel

Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in electrical or mechanical or aerospace engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in integration and testing
- 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in cross-functional planning, coordination and task execution across the spectrum of systems engineering and integration activities
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as clear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- Technical expertise in space or ground systems integration, test, verification, and validation
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- MS in engineering
- Experience in MILSATCOM or commercial SATCOM systems
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
