Job Description
The U.S. Bank Technology Risk and Compliance Management division (#TOSRCM) is seeking a Global Risk and Compliance Manager who will report directly to the Business Line Senior Vice President of Global Risk and Compliance Programs, Resiliency, and Third Party Risk.
The role ensures adherence to the Company’s Risk Management Framework, including the Risk Appetite and Risk Scorecard and to all risk-related and departmental policies, processes, and procedures. The Manager will oversee the ongoing identification and assessment of Technology Services’ material risks and key controls.
The Global Risk and Compliance Manager for the Technology Risk and Compliance Management Division will manage these essential functions:

Provides risk management oversight for technology teams and functions in Europe.

Supports and partners with the broader Technology Risk and Compliance Management (RCM) team ensuring that Technology RCM processes, procedures, and programs are adhered to while ensuring risk is mitigated in the European technology environment.

Ensures compliance to internal and external control requirements.

Partners proactively with assigned technology business partners, other business lines, and second line of defense to implement, maintain, review, and oversee an effective risk management framework.

Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, identifies gaps, and informs solutions that minimize risk and losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors

Identifies, responds to, and/or escalates risks as appropriate

Serves as the functional liaison between the business line and lines of defense

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships across Technology risk organization and with business partners and lines of defense

Ensures appropriate prioritization of team activities
Qualifications required to perform your role

5 or more years of applicable risk, compliance, audit, or technology experience or transferrable skills

The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
