Job Title

Global Senior Director of FinanceThis role leads financial strategy and key financial activities for a Segment, Semi OEM, with less complex industry focus and/or small to medium revenue scope. Responsible for supporting the development and execution of the segment’s financial strategy, planning, policies and procedures in, and alignment with corporate finance objectives. This role provides financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to segment leadership, ensuring effective financial planning and business decision-making. Focus is on long-term strategy, segment financial performance evaluation, M&A support, and growth strategies, resulting in a highly collaborative, effective, and sophisticated strategy. Reports to both Segment President and Chief Financial Officer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Segment President to advise and execute on strategic direction for Segment financial transactions, policies, and procedures to ensure the Segment meets the organization's medium and long-term business objectives.
  • Oversees activities related to financial planning & analysis, investment and strategic financial positioning for the Segment in coordination with the corporate finance team.
  • Monitors fiscal/monetary affairs, including financial policies and plans and provides recommendations for updates to Segment financial direction as needed.
  • Provides strategic leadership, innovative solutions, and broad-based knowledge to uphold the organization’s values, create a positive culture, and support a high-performing staff.
  • Advises management of financial affairs and assists in long range strategic planning.
  • Informs on corporate investment risk through Segment financial analysis and performance.
  • Exercises appropriate financial control over the Segment by maintaining policies supported by periodic operating and budget reports.
  • Oversees the preparation of the Segment’s financial plans and budgets, interprets financial reports and analyzes results accordingly (both short-term and long-term).
  • Leads month-end financial analysis, comparisons of actuals to plan and forecast, detailed capital analysis, financial modeling for significant transactions, and go-forward recommendations on how to improve the performance of the business across all the components of the P&L.
  • Works closely with both operations and commercial teams, along with the rest of the Segment Leadership Team, to execute on the Segment’s plans.
  • Lead the implementation of guidelines and systems for ongoing maintenance and growth.
  • Assists with transaction (M&A and divestiture) financial evaluation and negotiations in coordination with the corporate finance team.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • CPA or CFA preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience with at least 5 at the senior leadership/executive level.
  • Experience working for a global, multinational manufacturing company required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the business and a thorough understanding of external economic and financial issues affecting the industry.
  • Semiconductor industry experience preferred.

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 171,983.00 - USD 236,477.00
