Job Description:
Summary / purpose of the position
Responsible for elevating marketing and launch excellence capabilities within Ipsen organization by developing and deploying world class processes, systems, expertise and awareness relating to Marketing and Launch excellence.
This includes areas such as:

Brand Planning guidance and Framework for Global & Country cross-functional Brand teams

Launch Planning guidance, including tools such as the Ipsen Way to Launch Framework, and lead launch readiness review process across IPSEN therapeutic areas
-
Core Marketing skills - as per the Ipsen Brand Excellence Program, re-assess & improve regularly the program, communicate and train the Global & Country cross-functional Brand teams towards Ipsen competencies required to deliver high quality marketing plans
Main responsibilities / job expectations
The role requires strong leadership with the ability to drive change through management of complex projects and is integral in developing skills and capabilities across the broader Ipsen organization. The role acts as a strategic partner to key stakeholders including the Global Portfolio and Product Strategy (GPPS), supporting all geographies, R&D, Global Medical Affairs, Global Brand Teams (GBT), Asset Teams and affiliates.
The role requires a high ability to align team outputs with strategic and operational brand-specific and brand-agnostic requirements at both global and affiliate levels. Therefore, the ability to work cross-functionally in a highly complex matrix environment is critical. Other important aspects of the role include:

Lead and manage the development of Global Brand Plans and Global launch plans through co-creation strategies at Global Cross-functional and GBT level

Support and align the GBP process within the organization and support Global Brand Plans dissemination to all affiliates following GBOC challenge and endorsement

Oversee the Ipsen Way to Launch process, ensuring regular monitoring of defined KPIs and holding relevant stakeholders accountable to expectations

Challenge Asset Leads where strategic planning quality is below expectations & advise on course correction

Regularly assess and challenge brand excellence program to ensure that marketing capabilities are in place throughout the company to support excellence in execution

Strengthen communication and knowledge sharing between global-local and cross-functionally
Knowledge, abilities & experience
-
At least 10 years of experience in pharma business environment
-
Successful experience in launching products, or leading launch excellence at global or local level
-
Proven commercial operations experience (sales, marketing) at global or affiliate level
-
Experience in strategic marketing roles (ideally capability specific roles)
-
Ability to interact and influence multiple stakeholders up to C-suite level
Education / Certifications:
-
Degree level education, plus further degree or demonstrated learning development
