Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for a RTR GL Team Coordinator position. This position is a hybrid one and located in Budapest.
What You Will Do
- * Team Coordinator plays a vital role in RTR day-to-day operation (without people management duties) that
- helps to facilitate the daily functions and operations of the organization (coordination 80%, operational 20%).
- * Supports the team leader with organizing, supporting day to day operation of his/her relevant team, actively
- participate in onboarding schedules, starter trainings for new joiners, plays important role in Journal Entry
- approval (delegated within JE approval limit) and account reconciliation approval processes
- * Preparing and delivering LEAN Huddles, identifies improvement opportunities, support metric management
- process and Continues Improvement. Acting in accordance with Albemarle values on day-to-day basis
- * Key contributor in quality and timely month end close processes, participating/completing SOX Control processes
- * Supporting Global Projects

Required:
Qualifications
- College or university degree preferably in finance/accountancy - Essential
Experience
- Min. 3-4 year in the relevant field (RTR, accounting or finance) - Essential
Knowledge, skills & abilities
- Advanced communication level in English (both written and verbal) - Essential
- Other European language knowledge - Advantage
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) - Essential
- Knowledge of SAP - Advantage
- Having good understanding of RTR GL processes - Essential
- Trainer skills (on the job training) - Essential

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:
* Offers routine instructions to team members on job responsibilities.
* Ensures the performance of team members as per standards.
* Offers input of individual and/group training needs.
* Trains the team members on the jobs and addresses the questions to TL.
* Handles the routines operations and resolve the issues related to the operation.
* Determines opportunities to streamline current processes.
* Supports the development of processes and procedures.
* Adheres to project plans. (acts as SME or even PM)
* Will act as the ‘go to’ person for the team.
* Will coordinate the audit requests. (main contact person for collection of data)
* Will act as first escalation point.
* Root cause analysis for business incidents linked to the team.
* Approve and review Journal entries below certain threshold.
* Approve and review certain ranges of account reconciliations.
* Coordinate resolution of aged items within the team (reconciliation)
* Support SOX Controls and running relevant controls to support successful filing.
* Contributes goals to be achieved in any other tasks which are delegated by the Manager/Team Leader.
* Prepare and lead recurring huddles within the team
* Identify opportunities for improvement
* Support metric management
* Learn basic People management skills with tailored trainings & coaching
* Support agreed key communications towards the team
* Mandatory trainings with regular competency check
