As Generative AI Engineer , you’ll be responsible for leading projects to deliver breakthrough AI applications leveraging connected lighting and applying modern AI techniques to create value form the data collected and generated by our install base. Being part of our front-end innovation organization, you play a critical role in a world-class team that is at the heart of the future of the company in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

This is a hybrid role ( based out of our Burlington MA office) .

What you’ll do 

• Build generative AI powered solutions that translate new value propositions into Signify growth using various public/private data sources.

• Develop robust, scalable, and efficient systems for training and deploying generative models. Explore and experiment with novel techniques to enhance the capabilities and performance of those models. Optimize and fine-tune models to improve efficiency, accuracy, and response time.

• Conduct end-to-end innovation with the business, markets and end-customers by leveraging global teams, and the US entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem, contributes to creative plans and roadmaps together with the Business. 

• Transfer technology and share insights and best practices across innovation teams. 

• Actively scout, keep track of, evaluate, and leverage disruptive technologies, and emerging industrial, academic, technological, and socioeconomic trends. 

Your qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields from an accredited institution

• 2+ years of direct working experience and experience in AI/ML technologies and software engineering

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, or Java, C++

• 1+ years of professional experience with Large Language Models (LLM)/GenAI technology including both major foundation models/infrastructure/AI frameworks

• Salary: $ 140,600- 206,202 +/- based on experience level

• Bonus:  target bonus opportunity - 15% +/- based on experience
