Wroclaw Aircraft Maintenance Services is providing base maintenance of Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Ryanair, Europe biggest airline.
We are currently looking for a General Manager to join our Base Maintenance team in Wroclaw, Poland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overall management for the daily running of the Company (Wroclaw Aircraft Maintenance Services sp. z o.o.).
- Ensure that all maintenance is carried out by EASA and UKCAA standards.
- Responsible for promoting the Companies’ Safety and Quality policies.
- Responsible for managing the nominated Management staff based at the facility.
- Responsible for ensuring that necessary finance, manpower resources and facilities are available to enable the Company to perform its role as maintenance provider together with any additional work which may be undertaken, and reporting deficiencies to the Accountable Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring the competence of all personnel, including management personnel under their control, have been assessed and for reporting deficiencies to the Accountable Manager.
- Previous Managerial/Supervisory experience.
- Previous experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures.
- Fluent in English, Polish is an advantage.
- Have an unrestricted right to work in Poland.
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
- Must possess confident and effective interpersonal communication skills when dealing with colleagues, customers, and authorities.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and to take responsibility.
- Flexible approach to work, to match the operational requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable learning new systems.
- Heavy Maintenance Experience an advantage.
- Previous holder of EASA Form 4 approval is preferred but not mandatory.
