Job Description:

The General Accounts Portfolio Manager will primarily be responsible for managing general account portfolios. The regular functions include deploying assets in accordance with portfolio parameters, maintaining optimal asset allocation mix, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as ALM and Actuarial, monitoring portfolio metrics and providing reports to different stakeholders such as Investment Committee, ALCO, BOD, etc.

The General Accounts Portfolio Manager will also represent the Investments team in the Products Development Group for life insurance products.

The General Accounts Portfolio Manager will also serve as back-up to the Client Investment Strategy Manager as part of the Insurance Investments Team.

Education and experience:

College or post-college degree in finance, economics, business or related courses

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial markets

Interacts frequently with the following:

- Internal stakeholders and business units (ALM, Actuarial, Products)

- Investments team Regional and corporate office counterparts

- Clients and advisors
