This role is office-based in Brno, Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic.
What you'll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. We’re looking for Interns in the Software Engineering Department to join our Jamf team. As an Intern you will work closely in the Agile Team to learn and experience how to plan, develop and test new features, improve existing functionality and support new releases the moment they are made available by Apple.
Are you interested in the security of mobile devices and want to be able to influence the quality and functionality of our security solution? We are looking for an intern to join our Mars team to help us with front end development for features in the security and compliance field. You will have the opportunity to learn modern technologies and gain useful domain knowledge.
What you can expect to do in this role:
- Learning how to use different technologies via contributing to assigned projects.
- Collaborate with more experienced engineers.
- Efficiently use available tools with guidance.
- Learn and follow engineering best practices and processes.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working through challenges.
What we are looking for:
- Graduated from high school, with a current and active "student" status (any technical and/or IT-related field is preferred).
- Strong communication skills: must be able to communicate clearly and openly, especially within remote-working type of environment.
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming language – TypeScript, Javascript, etc.
- Natural curiosity and ability to formulate questions.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Fluency in English and Czech/Slovak.
- Knowledge of RESTful Services and APIs is an advantage.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture.
- Good listening skills.
