⭐ Role Overview
Lodgify is on the lookout for a Frontend Developer wanting to join an ever-growing, multicultural startup. You will be joining the Ancillary Services Squad to help us maintain and add features to our existing Frontend application built with React.
We seek people who are product-oriented and are motivated by participating and contributing to the growth and success of our project.
⭐ How will you make an impact?
- Participate in the implementation of new features and functionalities into our product, using technologies like TypeScript, React, SWR and styled-components
- Work closely with the product and development team, you will take an active part in decisions that will shape our product. You will be studying its technical feasibility always with an eye on testing, performance, and quality of the code
- Extend a modern cross-browser compatible application always focusing on the latest Web APIs and features
- Participate in front-end discussions and come up with initiatives to improve our codebase as a whole.
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- At least 2+ years of experience with React
- You have good knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS
- You have strong Git skills and have experience working with the mono-repository
- You write unit and integration tests. Experience with interaction tests using Storybook or end-to-end tests using Playwright are a plus.
- You can effectively deliver accessible, mobile-responsive, performant and scalable solutions
- You have experience working closely with designers and can validate their ideas for technical feasibility
- Experience with Agile Principles (Kanban, Scrum).
- You have experience working with REST APIs and can set up contracts with back-end developers.

- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- You have experience working with Design Systems
- You can audit applications for accessibility issues and use WCAG specification effectively
- Experience integrating with third parties.

What We Do
Lodgify is a constantly growing tech start-up, focused on building vacation rental software that enables vacation rental owners to independently manage and market their business online. We do so by providing them with easy-to-build websites, including a booking and reservation system, various synchronisation options, and payment collection options. We are +300 Lodgifiers strong, and you can find us working in Barcelona and all around the world!
