Key responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

Work with Ops Partners to gather necessary financial data and assumptions for forecasts.

Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining any variances.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Analyze financial performance (spending) to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to improve business performance.
Variance Analysis:

Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing actual financial results with budgeted figures.

Identify the causes of variances and communicate findings to management with actionable insights.

Highlight risks and opportunities that impact financial outcomes.
Financial Modeling:

Prepare financial forecasts for different departments or business units, analyzing potential impacts on financial results.

Use financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare custom reports and financial analysis as needed by senior management, stakeholders, or specific departments.

Provide financial insights and data for special business initiatives.
Cost Control and Optimization:

Monitor and track operational costs, ensuring that spending is in line with budget expectations.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs or optimize resource allocation.

Collaborate with different departments to suggest ways to improve profitability through cost management.
Data Management and Process Improvement:

Collect and organize financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist in the development and implementation of financial processes and systems for better data management and reporting accuracy.

Automate reporting processes where possible to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Communication:

Support decision-making by providing financial insights to leadership and Ops Partners.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 1+ years of related practical experience on Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Planning, forecasting and business modeling.
- Advanced English level
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PBI, Queries (pivot tables, managing large sets of data)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Data visualization or analytics tools.
- Knowledge driving process improvements, Automation, standardization, and business process management (BPM).
