Job Description
We are looking for a Financial Controlling Specialist with a strong understanding of financial reports, accounting and reporting systems, and annual planning preparation. The role requires a comprehensive view of financial planning and reporting processes, collaboration with company departments, and controlling within the Allegro Group. Within our region, we oversee operations in Slovenia and Croatia.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participation in monthly closings and preparation of financial results and their analysis.
- Preparation of monthly reports for company management, calculation, and monitoring of key indicators.
- Coordination of the planning process and mid-year forecasts, preparing necessary analytics for management and company departments.
- Management and understanding of the reporting system for companies in the region.
- Conducting detailed financial analyses to support business decisions.
- Collaboration with various accounting teams to improve financial processes and systems.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Assisting in the preparation of profitability analyses for projects and investments.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed higher education in Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in controlling/finance or accounting. Preference is given to candidates with experience in controlling, accounting, and knowledge of financial mapping and reporting systems for Plan/FC.
- Independent analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in processing business information.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics tools.
- Proactive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn new content and technical skills.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and tools like Power Pivot and BI is desirable.
- ACCA certification is an advantage.
- Passion for working with numbers and financial analysis, along with strong communication skills.
