Reporting to the Group CFO, the Financial Analyst will provide financial leadership and oversight to a group of acquired VMS companies (both current and anticipated newly acquired). This role will be actively involved in supporting the Group’s financial reporting activity including monthly financial reporting, internal and portfolio reporting, financial modeling, assisting in M&A diligence, and assist in the integration of any acquired business. Once acquired, the Financial Analyst will work with each company to deliver timely and accurate corporate reporting, quarterly forecasts, and work with the business units to improve internal finance systems/processes.

Job Description:

  • Implements and manages financial processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of our group to our parent company.

  • Reviews the risk and controls environment of all business units.

  • Identifies and addresses financial and operational risks and opportunities for the group and business units.

  • Manage and perform ongoing internal management reporting and enhance as needed.

  • Provides detailed analysis of management reporting, including variance analysis, key operating ratios to identify issues, opportunities, and emerging trends.

  • Works alongside the Group CFO on high level strategy to ensure ambitious growth and profitability plans are met.

  • Assist business units with their quarterly business forecasting including data collection, analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Assist the Group in financial due diligence on new acquisition targets.

  • Assist the Group CFO in integrating new acquisitions and to ensure successful and timely delivery of key acquisition investment drivers.

  • Provides mentorship to the business unit financial leads.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS Degree in Corporate Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a Senior Financial Analyst role (ideally from a Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, or Strategic Planning,).

  • CPA, CMA and/or CFA a positive, but not required.

  • Prior M&A experience preferred

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Advanced Excel skills (preferred).

  • XERO and/or MS Great Plains a plus, but not required.

Compensation

$80,000 - 85,000 dependent upon experience
