Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to join our team on a 12-month breakthrough journey. 

This entry-level position will provide hands-on experience in both accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will support the finance department in various tasks, gaining valuable insights and skills in financial management.

You will be based in Sofia reporting to the Accounting Manager BG and responsible for undertaking tasks such as:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Engage in month-end, budget, RFC & year-end closing procedures.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare and analyze financial data for internal and external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Work with SAP for financial data management and reporting.
• Utilize sales tools and systems to support financial analysis and reporting, such as preparation of standard & ad hoc analysis & reports to Leading Management Team and Sales team to facilitate business decisions and commercial actions.
• Serving as Finance liaison between functions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

For this role as a Finance Trainee, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an MBA or Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
• Readiness to dive into research to find the best solutions.
• Eagerness to learn and solve complex financial challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Confidence with working across diverse finance functions.
• Excellent precision with details and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective collaborations mindset while taking ownership of tasks.
• Proficiency in English
