Summary of our opportunity

The Group Finance team, comprising 32 London-based employees supported by an offshore team in India, handles internal and external financial and regulatory reporting for the ICG Group.

This is an opportunity within the Group Financial Control team, reporting to the Head of Legal Entity Control. This team manages financial and regulatory reporting for the Board, Shareholders, and regulators, including quarterly financial statements, monthly management reports, and regulatory returns. They also assist with accounting and business impact assessments.

The role involves supporting the Head of Legal Entity Control with bookkeeping and accounting for ICG’s Poland subsidiary, including producing Annual Financial Statements. The focus is on providing timely and accurate financial data to key stakeholders and participating in process evaluations, efficiency improvements, and infrastructure development to support growth.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

Legal Entity Control & Financial Control activities

  • Lead the Company’s build out of a legal entity control presence in Warsaw, responsible for delivering timely and accurate internal and external financial, regulatory and management information for our Poland subsidiary.

  • Deliver timely and accurate quarterly Board financials and present results to senior management.

  • Manage all aspects of the yearly subsidiary audits and all related disclosures, delivering timely and accurate statutory reporting and be the key face off to the external auditors

  • Review monthly management accounts and monitor regulatory requirements.

  • Evaluate existing processes and booking model changes.

  • Evaluate retained earnings capacity to make dividends to the Parent Company.

  • Work with our internal Tax team to manage the tax elements of our financials.

  • Ensure a robust control environment underpins the reporting deliverables.

  • Ensure the appropriate accounting treatment for all aspects within role responsibility.

  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support on several key finance and wider ICG Group projects.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 

  • Strong communication skills and working with offshore partners.

  • Experience in managing a variety of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements in Poland.

  • Polish & English speaking, reading and writing skills.

  • IFRS GAAP experience and background in producing Poland compliant Annual Financial Statements.  

  • Knowledge of Tax transfer pricing (preferable)

  • Experience in working with Accounts payable teams and expense management (preferable)

  • Extensive PQE in either/and: Legal Entity Control, Financial Regulatory Reporting or Financial Control.

  • Qualified Accountant– ACA or equivalent.

  • Past Organisations: Publicly listed organisations, Asset Managers, PE & Venture Capital, Other Financial Services and / or Tier I Consulting/Professional Services firms
