Fin Solutions Lead Analyst - C13 - TAMPA

The Ledger Standardization Lead Analyst will help drive the definition and implementation of ledger standards across Citi’s Books and Records infrastructure. This is critical to leading Citi’s Finance Transformation priorities deliverables as it relates to Ledger Standardization.

The role will work with key stakeholders across Controllers including Strategic Ledger, Legal Entity Controllers, Controller System Data Operations (CSDO), Treasury, Accounting Policy, Corporate Reporting and a key partnership with Global Finance Technology (GFT) and Data Standards Management Tool (DSMT) to drive standardization and consistent usage of data standards, hierarchies and process functionality across Citi’s Operating and Global Ledgers. The role will also provide continuous governance and monitoring of the established ledger standards and principles through dashboards and KPIs.

Knowledge of Finance standards, hierarchies and systems is required as well as other Finance and Risk specific data standards such as FRS BU, FDL, GOC is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance related to the Chart of Accounts for the Strategic Ledger
• Evaluate key components of Citi’s Ledger Code Block
• Ensure the usage of consistent ledger standards and hierarchies across Finance for books and records, infrastructure, and reporting
• Develop and implement a governance process and controls to monitor ledger standard compliance including key metrics and dashboards
• Partner closely with Corporate Reporting, Controllers, Technology, Accounting Policy, Treasury, Tax, Operations, CSDO
• Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations
• Acts as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision

• Strong accounting skills and an understanding of accounting policy in accordance with US GAAP

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active listening) required, ability to synthesize key messages and influence others
• Strong analytical skills, acting as an expert or advisor on accounting and recording matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Accounting / MBA preferred
• Strong background in one or more areas of Finance preferred
• Strong understanding of Citi Finance infrastructure
• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting and Project/Program Management in the financial services industry is preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in absence of detailed instructions
• Process reengineering and change management preferred
• Program/project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
