We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative for the DMS (Data Management System), CDE (Common Data Environment) and Field Construction Software solutions at Trimble, Inc. The role involves promoting our innovative solutions in the French market. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, as well as cross-selling our DMS, CDE and Field Construction Software products to existing customers.

A successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate the value of Trimble's products and coordinate internal and external resources to achieve revenue and customer success targets. You must be an excellent communicator, well-organized, creative, and able to respond to tenders, negotiate commercial agreements, and follow up contracts with customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Execute the go-to-market strategy to meet business objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the construction market.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Trimble’s products and those of its competitors.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reporting metrics, including sales opportunity pipeline, sales forecasts, and Salesforce productivity information.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity, and provide feedback to the sales leadership team.
  • Manage customer relationships and close strategic opportunities.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions at customer sites.
  • Prepare and coordinate tender dossiers with the support of the technical teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the role and track record in sales.
  • Fluency in French and advanced proficiency in English.
  • Solid knowledge of the construction and/or AECO sector. Knowledge in the fields of DMS (Data Management System), CDE (Common Data Environment) and Field Construction Software will be strongly appreciated.
  • Excellent understanding of document management issues and company business processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively, transmit information accurately, and seek feedback actively.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Expertise in selling strategies and methodologies, strategic planning, and execution.
  • Strong time management, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
