Executive: Networks & Data Centre Solutions
Job Description
The Executive: Networks and Data Centre Solutions go-to-market (GTM) is responsible for the growth of this GTM. This includes accountability for the strategy, execution of that strategy, the product and services value proposition, the partnerships and financial performance of the GTM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

P&L Ownership and Business Performance:
-
Drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall financial performance of the business unit

Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve revenue and margin targets

Monitor financial KPIs, cost structures, and operational efficiencies
-

Business Strategy and Market Positioning:

Define and execute a go-to-market strategy aligned with company goals
-
Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and expansion strategies
-
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies
-

Sales, Customer Acquisition & Retention:
-
Oversee sales and business development efforts in partnership with the Executive: Sales to drive enterprise customer acquisition

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
-
Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and renewal rates

Leadership and Team Development:
-
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across sales, service delivery, and operations
-
Foster a strong performance-driven and customer-centric culture
-
Ensure effective talent management, workforce planning, and skill development
-

Innovation and Product/Service Development:
-
Oversee the development and enhancement of service offerings to stay competitive

Drive innovation in Networks, Data Centre solutions, security or other emerging tech relevant to the business

Align technology investments with customer needs and business strategy

Governance, Risk, and Compliance:
-
Ensure adherence to industry standards, compliance, and security regulations
-
Manage business risks related to IT services, contracts, and service delivery

Implement governance frameworks for sustainable growth and operational control

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

Report business performance and key initiatives to the MD
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, marketing, HR, and IT
-
Represent the business unit in industry forums, client meetings, and strategic partnerships
-

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Educational Qualifications:
-
IT, Commercial Degree or Relevant Bachelors, Honours or postgraduate qualification
Professional Qualifications:
-
Relevant Professional Membership/s
Years of Experience:
-
10 years+ in a related IT environment of which 5 years must be at Senior Management level
-
Proven experience in product management, including strategy development and product lifecycle management
-
Strong business acumen with the ability to create and execute strategic plans
-
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across departments

Analytical and data-driven decision-making
-
A deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics
