What You’ll do Here

You’re the glue that holds real estate transactions together and makes them happen. Supporting the Escrow Officers and working with agents, buyers, sellers, lawyers, lenders, surveyors and others, you collect, organize and process all the necessary documentation to ensure the closing gets completed on time and with a minimum of stress. Details matter. 

When something isn’t right – paperwork is incomplete or a detail is wrong – you know how to fix it. Agents and their clients appreciate your friendliness and expertise. People depend on you to deliver. And you do.

• Support the HomeLight Escrow Team in a fast-paced, high-volume purchase escrow operation.
• Reviewing the real estate purchase contract, making sure it is complete and requesting any missing information.
• Reviewing completed title commitments and eliminating any title problems prior to closing. If a lien is identified order the payoff and verify it is correct. Take the necessary actions to cure the lien.  
• Maintain communication with the pre-closers, disbursers, and post-closing teams.

What You Bring

• Two years of escrow assistant/escrow processing​​ experience is required
• ​Knowledge of the closing process, ​closing disclosure, title commitment, etc
• Lien/Judgment clearing experience is a plus 
• Qualia knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency with Google Suite a plus 
• Ability to work within multiple computer applications for data entry and file management
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required
