Enterprise Architect – Financial Services
Job Description
The Enterprise Architect is a customer-facing industry expert, responsible for engaging with named financial services clients to help define their enterprise architecture roadmaps. Focusing on deep client engagement, ensuring that Altron is positioned as a trusted advisor.
By working closely with the client’s Enterprise Architecture teams, the EA will influence strategic technology decisions, architectural roadmaps, and future IT investment priorities. The ultimate objective is to ensure Altron’s solutions are embedded into the customer’s long-term plans, increasing the likelihood of securing high-value work as opportunities arise.
This role is critical in elevating Altron’s stature and relevance within financial services, positioning the company as a key technology partner for digital transformation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Engagement & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to named financial services clients, working with their Enterprise Architecture teams to shape IT strategies and transformation roadmaps

Enterprise Architecture Roadmap Development: Support clients in defining their future-state architecture, focusing on key areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, AI, digital banking, and payments

Strategic Positioning: Ensure Altron is engaged early in client planning cycles, increasing visibility and alignment with emerging opportunities

Solution Alignment: Work closely with Key Account Managers and Solution Architects to position Altron’s solutions within client architecture roadmaps

Industry & Market Awareness: Stay informed on financial services trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes to provide insights that shape Altron’s strategy

Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent Altron at executive briefings, client workshops, and industry events, strengthening market credibility

Collaboration & Influence: Partner with internal GTM teams to ensure Altron’s product and solution offerings align with customer transformation priorities

Governance & Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to industry regulatory requirements and best practices, mitigating risk for clients

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Educational Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Professional Qualifications:
-
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are advantageous.
Other requirements:
-
At least 8 years of experience in Financial Services
-
At least 4 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or a related role

Proven expertise in developing and aligning complex, multi-business unit solutions

Good written and verbal communications skills

A deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics
