As an Engineering Manager for RAN Solutions, leading and managing a team of senior engineers within Radio Access Networks (RAN), Development Lab and Hardware system design, you will have the unique opportunity to experience a full 5G end-to-end network first-hand and to shape the future of the business. You are accountable for the team's day-to-day operations, playing a critical role in unlocking the full potential of your team. We also expect you to leverage on your past experience as a technical leader, as well as a people leader, to lead the team, coaching and supporting them to grow as professionals and individuals.

What Will You Do?

  • Be accountable for the group's deliverables and commitments, playing a central operational role in leading and coordinating the team's day-to-day activities and unblocking impediments

  • Align and collaborate with other R&D functions within the organization, but also with other Ericsson entities to secure short-term and long-term business objectives

  • Manage and Coach individuals in the team to continuously learn and improve in everything they do

  • Hire and retain the best talent in the market in order to build a strong team

 Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five or more (5+) years of experience in combined technical and people leadership positions, with experience from leading cross-functional development teams and senior developers within the fields of Telco (e.g. Radio/RAN, Lab and Hardware)

  • Excellent people management and coaching skills

  • Great ability to drive change

  • Great stakeholder management and negotiation skills

  • Great communication skills

  • Fluency in using Jira, Confluence, Linux, git and other common R&D tools

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

  • While there is a primary location listed on this requisition, other locations may be considered

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions offers a competitive salary with a focus on a global market. For many roles, the compensation package includes annual and incremental incentive plans; certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.  The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
