Job Description
As Engineering data functional analyst, you will be part of the development tools team whose help to improve the efficiency of development tools to serve the R&D centers of Schréder.
You will support users and develop tools in order to allow them to work the most efficiently. The initial focus is on the PLM tool.
Support the users of development tools.
- Give first line support to users helping them to fix their issues in PLM context.
- Analyze the issues to find the root cause.
- Identify solutions to address and correct the root cause. Prototype them and validate them with stakeholders.
- Document the solution.
Develop tools
- Identify improvements in PLM and processes to prevent issue recurrence. Prototype them and validate them with stakeholders.
- Identify improvements in PLM and processes to support change in business processes. Prototype them and validate them with stakeholders.
Execute administrator specific tasks
- Help users to execute mass changes in PLM.
- Assist users by correcting errors in order to limit the negative impact on other systems.
- Audit the data to ensure that the quality of data leads to a seamless work of digital tools of organization.
Manage knowledge
- Create content about issue resolution, tools improvements and new tools usages.
- Build journeys for users to ensure initial training and continuous training.
- Collect and define work best practices and communicate them to the user community
Qualifications
- Engineering Master Degree (mechanical, electromechanical, …)
- Global experience in R&D and/or production manufacturing environment and/or user support of 1-5 years expected.
- Knowledge in using and/or configuring a PLM (preferably Bluestar) or ERP (preferably D365)
- Language: English mandatory B2
- Promote collaboration. Ability to work in team environment
- Willingness to go and see the reality of the field, empathize with users.
- Good communication level: share good practices.
- Ability in presentation and redaction of content adapted to audience.
- Ability to work in Agile environment.
- Ability to focus on the goal with logical reasoning
