SUMMARY

As a leader of the Electrolux Sales Team for the Lowe’s Home Improvement Account, this role is responsible for all Cooking, Dishwasher and Laundry sales and merchandising activities affiliated in addition to coordination of all marketing and operational activities in support thereof.  Additionally, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of the selling, merchandising, marketing, and operations activities associated with this account with the overall corporate strategies for each of these functions.  Finally, this role is responsible for the attainment of all corporate goals, including but not limited to volume, forecast, and financial metrics.  This role is the main point of contact for this account internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic leadership and development of the Electrolux/Lowe’s Sales Team
  • Profit/Loss responsibility for the channel including attainment of all corporate and sales goals as set forth by management
  • Creation of overall pricing strategies and oversee implementation of such in conjunction with the corresponding Merchandising Team(s). 
  • Accurate unit volume, revenue, and financial forecasting, tracking, and communication for the channel
  • Work with the Merchandising Team to assure successful implementation of Electrolux/Lowe’s line review/tech review strategies in accordance with organizational goals and objectives
  • Work with the Product Line / Innovation Team to develop sound processes leading to a robust innovation and generation plan in support of the Lowe’s channel
  • Timely and accurate implementation of all Lowe’s sales and merchandising initiatives
  • Participation in all internal groups and committees as assigned to ensure appropriate levels of coordination across functions and provide leadership in support of the Lowe’s sales channel
  • Work with National Account Operations Team to insure proper execution of all initiatives
  • Develop and deliver presentations in support of all key initiatives, both internally and externally
  • Travel as necessary to attend all internal and external meetings, seminars, and product councils in support of the Lowe’s Sales Channel
  • Market visits as necessary
  • Develop and foster a collaborative, rewarding team atmosphere across all channel functions
  • Utilize and provide leadership to the National Accounts Field Sales team to assure accurate and timely implementation of all training and projects
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained on items including, but not limited to, pricing, VSI, CTS, and item set-up.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
  • MBA preferred
  • 7-10 years of sales, merchandising and marketing experience, preferably with 3-5 years in national accounts
  • Prior managerial experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Solid analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience in financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven competency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Capable of setting priorities, meeting pre-determined deadlines, multi-tasking and attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone.  The employee frequently is required to walk and sit.  The employee is occasionally required to stand.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move minimal amounts of objects.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You will be based at EMA, NA Headquarters in Charlotte, NC.  It will be necessary to travel on a periodic basis.  Benefits include:
