Job Description Summary:
The roles provide thought leadership and analytical support to the Category teams and broader North America Operating Unit (NAOU) to shape the direction our system takes in the marketplace for the OBPPC (occasion, brand, package, price and channel) & Retail Strategy. The role is also responsible for working with the Marketing, Commercial & National Retail Sales (NRS), and Bottler teams to ensure that we meet consumer occasion needs states to optimize category revenue, profitability, and growth. This requires a holistic business understanding, analytical mindset, cross-functional leadership, and strong influencing skills.
What You’ll Do for Us

Support development of an OBPPC vision and growth strategy for a specific category across multiple brands, while partnering with other categories to ensure total portfolio coherency.

Expected to develop OBPPC strategy across all channels to ensure that all consumer occasion needs states are met with the right margin optimization strategy.

Category OBPPC strategy work will include a 3-year OBPPC strategy, opportunity identification, occasions-channels-packages, new package launches, and pricing strategy across core brands and innovation.

Will be expected to develop the mid to long-term category retail price strategy for a specific category across all channels and partner with the RGM execution teams to ensure that all strategies are implemented within the guardrails by the customers & bottlers.

Provides insights and analysis required to ensure a clear view of opportunities and risks vs. plan.

Ensures seamless coordination across functions to ensure new launches & pilots roll out of new packages with the right strategy.

Will partner with cross functional colleagues to develop acceleration initiatives to capture additional growth as needed.

Work with respective RGM, commercial, brand teams to translate.

Category Plan into actionable annual business plans for bottler plans

Lead the strategy development and quantification for Sources of Growth (SOG) to be incorporated into the annual business planning process.

Pricing & Promotions: understanding of rate/mix drivers and promotional impact on overall rate.

Change Management: demonstrates innovation & creativity to develop novel business solutions; ability to influence/gain alignment across divergent perspectives.
Education and Professional Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or other Advanced Degree a plus.

5+ years of relevant experience required.

Pay Range:
$148,000 - $169,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
