Responsibilities:
· Manage wide-ranging key customer relationships (Automotive, Consumer, Industrial, Aerospace, Military etc.) with a focus on various quality aspects. Duties include management and communication of customer failure analysis requests, issue resolution, improvement activities, new product introduction (e.g. APQP/PPAP), PCN communication and approvals, periodic quality reviews and customer quality status reports.
· Work effectively with various departments and functions (sales, customer operations, business unit test, design, product and planning engineers and other regional quality engineers) to timely address and solve customer inquiries and challenges.
· Advocate for customers by representing their views and requirements. Understand, interpret, initiate and drive quality system/process improvements to meet customer’s evolving needs by meeting or exceeding customer expectations as reflected in customer responses and scorecard performance.
· The perspective candidate should be a self-motivated quick learning problem solver with excellent communication skills who can find and facilitate data-driven solutions for complex issues.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related technical field. Master’s degree or higher preferred.
· Proven problem solving with excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills including ability to present internally and externally to multiple levels of an organization.
· Experience in project and account management accountable for driving projects to rapid completion.
· Ability to travel locally, domestically (US) and internationally occasionally required.
· Fluency in English, additional language is a plus.
· A comprehensive understanding of quality, reliability, and failure analysis processes and requirements for semiconductors is desired. Understanding of commercial and automotive semiconductor standards (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA) and issue resolution tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Is/Is-Not, Ishikawa/fishbone/fault tree diagrams is ideal. Data analysis skills to look for signals in semiconductor manufacturing data, customer issues, and project hurdles is a plus.
· In this leadership role, candidate is expected to negotiate Customer Quality Agreements. This role also requires partnership with customers on PCN and PDN change management activities.
· As a Senior Manager in Customer Quality Engineering for the Americas, the candidate is expected to lead a team of 10 Customer Quality Engineers. In this role he/ she will need to demonstrate exemplary prioritization skills coupled with organization skills so that ADI can execute to plans with our customers at the center of all our actions. The candidate will also need to demonstrate effective constructive confrontation skills as needed, to ensure that all the right resources at ADI are mobilized to address any customer concerns.
